Obituary

Dolores Jean “Dee” Campa, 73, of Weirton, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at her home. She was born February 2, 1944 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Edward Frank and Mary Magdalene Kandur Vikartovsky. She was also preceded in death by her husband Raul Campa, brother Edward Vickers and sister Theresa Woodward.

After 18 years of service, Dee retired from Trinity Medical Center East where she worked as a Nurse’s Aide. She was Catholic by faith and a huge sports fan; especially the Steelers and Fighting Irish.

Dee was a loving mother to her son Chuck (Gaye) Pinti; daughters Lisa Campa all of Weirton and Debbie Campa and her companion Greg McElheney of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 1 until the 3pm funeral service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. The Reverend Father Anthony G. Thurston will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Springs, KY 41076.
